ProspHire’s commitment to social impact – where our company meets our community.
Giving where we live is in the ProspHire DNA, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania is the Firm’s long-standing charity of choice. Since our founding, ProspHire has donated more than $300k to local and national non-profit organizations.
2015: Firm Principals Lauren and Chris Miladinovich and their Julianna pet pig Nola helped to create the Clubs’ annual “Kiss a Pig” campaign. Through it, they committed to help raise $1 million. We are well on our way with more than $500k raised to date. Sadly, Nola crossed the Rainbow Bridge in the summer of 2023.
2017: Lauren and Chris were honored with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania’s Commitment to Youth Award. The couple was also recognized at the organization’s 2017 Celebration of Champions event for their, “remarkable leadership, inspiring community achievement and extraordinary entrepreneurial spirit” in the healthcare industry.
In the height of the pandemic, Firm Principals created the ProspHire Small Business Stimulus. Through this program, practitioners were reimbursed 100% for food, living essentials and sanitizing supplies purchased from local, independent small businesses. Together, we spent more than $20k in our communities.
ProspHire practitioners faced off in a Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia virtual food drive. Collectively, we raised nearly $10k for local food banks 412 Food Rescue and Philabundance.
A small business ourselves, ProspHire gave their time to consult with and help other small businesses apply for federal and state relief programs.
2022: ProspHire expanded its annual Prosper Together Day activities in Pittsburgh to Philadelphia. The Firm hosted two service events on the same day – at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western PA in Lawrenceville in the city of Pittsburgh and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia in Bridesburg in the city of Philadelphia. The staff participated in interactive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) activities that teach leadership and life skills, as well as played games with the children of the Clubs.
2024: The Pittsburgh and Philadelphia offices hosted a service day on the same day at both Boys and Girls Clubs. The staff participated in interactive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) activities and played games with the children of the Clubs.
Check out some of our favorite memories from Prosper Together Day through the years.
ProspHire encourages its practitioners to stay involved in the community by offering paid time off for community service. With this policy, ProspHire practitioners can trade traditional work days to give back and create a positive impact.
