Asian American and Pacific Islander Month

“I was born and raised in Bengal, India and came to the United States as an international student. My mutual friends introduced me to my wife, Malvika, who is from Punjab, India and was an international student. Today, Indian culture is very much a focus for our family – Rishi and Rohan are learning Hindi, the national language of India; we enjoy at least one traditional Indian meal a day, visit a Hindu Temple once a month and annually celebrate Diwali and Holi. I am proud to pass my Indian values onto the next Das generation.”
